Uterine Prolapse

Uterine prolapse occurs when the uterus descends from its normal position in the pelvis into the vaginal canal or, in severe cases, protrudes outside the vagina. This condition is often associated with weakening of the pelvic floor muscles and supportive tissues that normally hold the uterus in place.
