What is Hot Flushes?

Hot flushes, also known as hot flashes, are sudden feelings of intense warmth, often accompanied by sweating and flushing of the face and upper body. They are a common symptom experienced by women during menopause but can also occur in men undergoing hormonal changes or certain medical conditions.

Symptoms

Sudden Heat: A rapid and intense feeling of heat, typically starting in the face or chest and spreading throughout the body.
Redness: Flushing or reddening of the skin, often accompanied by sweating.
Rapid Heartbeat: Increased heart rate or palpitations during a hot flush.
Chills: Followed by a period of feeling chilled or clammy after the flush subsides.
